Andersen formed the trio in 2007 with the clear aim of breaking new ground in contemporary jazz and their impact was immediate. Their group’s initial live performances were noted for their astonishing power, precision and dynamism. With the trio’s release, “Live at Belleville” from 2008, Andersen won the European Jazz Musician of the Year award by the French Jazz Academy.[/ultimate_heading]

It is supremely floating, supremely exploratory and with a sound even large orchestras will envy them.
